About Us

Hello! We are Carmen and Evan. This blog is our public space for documenting the process of relocalising our food supply. We live in suburban Hobart and have front and back yards in which we've planted fruit trees, herbs and vegetables.

This is how our front yard looked when we moved into our house in early 2015.
The hedge was so tall, it blocked all the winter sun.

8 months later, the hedge and lawn were gone and we began  harvesting vegetables and herbs.
